After having my son in 2024, newborn portraits have taken on a whole new meaning. I have such a depth of understanding and compassion, not only for making sure we capture every little detail of your brand new little one but, for you as brand new parents going through one of the most extraordinary and life changing periods of your life. This newborn window can fly by, which makes capturing that much more important. I'm here to help you do just that.
My newborn sessions start at 598 and include your session fee & my starting bundle of digitals & matching heirloom matted prints. The average newborn investment is 900+.
I'm a lifestyle newborn photographer serving Hudson, Somerset, New Richmond, and River Falls, as well as Stillwater, Lake Elmo, and the broader St. Croix Valley area. My sessions are easy going, carefree and meant to capture moments that feel authentically you.

Maternity Portraits
The typical timeframe to book your maternity portraits is 28-36 weeks. This means we'll have a cute bump to photograph while also making sure we're not too close to your due date so you can move around comfortably! These sessions are so beautiful in-studio and can also be done outdoor at a location of your choice. Ready to start your portrait journey?

What should we wear?
Start with finding an outfit mom feels confident and comfortable in and build from there. Maybe it's a flowy dress or a sweater and linen pants. Keep colors light and airy. Dad can wear a t shirt and jeans for a more casual feel or a button down and khaki's for a more polished look. Baby is best in neutrals and textured pieces for added interest.
Where should we take the photos?
Typically, newborn lifestyle sessions are photographed either in-home for a cozy relaxed feel or in studio for a simplified, light and airy feel. I have a few studio options I can share with you during your design consultation when planning your session.
What happens if my newborn is crying?
That's what babies do! Don't worry, just do what you do best and love your newborn. If needed you can always take a few minutes to soothe or feed baby. If breastfeeding, this is something that my clients love to have photographed as well so they can remember this special time.
Do you travel outside of Hudson, WI?
Yes! I serve families throughout the St. Croix Valley including River Falls, Somerset & New Richmond, as well as Stillwater, Lake Elmo, Afton & Mahtomedi. I also travel outside of these areas, fill out an inquiry form and we can chat through the details.
