Senior portraits with me are laid back and low stress. I take time before your session to get to know you and your senior and find out what you're looking for from your portraits. This helps us capture images efficiently and with purpose while still allowing time for creativity and individuality to shine. I edit in a way that is timeless and true to color leaving you with images you'll cherish forever.

FAQ
What should my senior wear?
I recommend a few different options. I love to see your senior wearing something casual that represents their unique style. This could be as simple as jeans and a t-shirt! The next outfit should be dressed up a little more. For example, a button down shirt and khaki's for guys or a nice dress for girls. Finally, an outfit that revolves around a sport or hobby is always fun to throw in! And, don't worry! We go over all this in detail together during our design consultation.
Where should we take the photos?
I have some beautiful locations I've found over the years that make for gorgeous portraits. Another option is to choose a location that's meaningful to you and your senior, like your family home or a park that you love.
Do you shoot at golden hour?
I do, but it's not a requirement. During our session planning, we'll chat about the portrait styles you're more drawn to and how the time of day can change the look of your images.
Do you travel outside of Hudson, WI?
Yes! I serve families throughout the St. Croix Valley including River Falls, Somerset & New Richmond, as well as Stillwater, Lake Elmo, Afton & Mahtomedi. I am happy to travel outside of these areas for a travel fee. You are also more than welcome to travel to me.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and I'm flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances.
Can the whole family come to our senior session?
For sure! I love including a few family portraits during your senior's portrait session. What better time to update your full family photographs! Keep me up to date on who will be joining us so I can plan our timing accordingly.
