Abby & Jason are the epitome of fun and laid back and their engagement session was just that! We drove up the east side of MN and met at Black Beach on the North Shore. It was a gray, misty day. We trudged through muddy parking lots and wet sand with umbrellas at the ready... and these two still had a smile on their face! I like to start sessions with fun, light hearted prompts to get my couples moving and smiling and I absolutely adore how these turned out!
Abby & Jason were naturals in front of the camera and their giggles were contagious! Once we calmed our laughs, we ventured closer to the end of the beach near the island. The colors in the rock were stunning and I LOVE that Abby & Jason decided to go neutral and dark with their wardrobe to blend with the natural beauty around them!
After Black Beach, we headed back through the mist and the muddy parking lots and took off for Palisade Head, a stunning large rock formation in Silver Bay, MN. These locations really made us feel like we had transported to the PNW... but we were smack dab in the center of the midwest! It was so amazing and truly a session to remember!
